The first single of 2022 from Molly Payton is ‘Do It All The Same’. It’s a crashing piece of indie rock that uses crunchy guitars and fat drums to build towards a huge, instantly memorable chorus that repeats the powerful lyric ‘given the choice, I’d do it all the same’. She explains: “This song came about after I’d had a particularly bad run of things. I was out of money and about to start a tour I couldn’t afford and really doubted my future. When you’re living that way it makes you really appreciate any consistency you can get your hands on, and for me that was my partner.” Her upcoming EP is called Compromise and it drops on October 28th, 2022.
